Back in the day traditional net curtains were all the rage. Even today, some of our customers still love their ability to provide privacy from nosy neighbours, whilst still allowing plenty of light into the room. The issue many find, of course, is that they get easily stained or grubby, and nowadays look pretty dated!
We have finally found a modern, sleek alternative to net curtains in the form of allusion blinds. Available in multiple fabrics for you to see in our showroom, why not pop in to see one in action, or give us a call to book your free consultation?
Why opt for an Allusion Blind instead of a net curtain?
Unique – Allusion blinds are made of woven fabric vanes. They have a truly unique texture which makes them more durable than traditional net curtains and falls elegantly to the floor to create impact. Visitors will love them!
Flexible – as with a net curtain, allusion blinds can be drawn in the daytime to offer partial privacy with light still entering your room. However, they also have the option to slide the vanes to offer full privacy (much like a vertical blind) meaning you don’t need any additional blinds or curtains for the evening!
Ideal for bi-fold doors – the length and shape of the blinds makes allusion blinds ideal for large windows or bi-fold doors. Prevent any overlooking neighbours peering into your new conservatory, whilst still retaining the view of your garden!
Walk-through – You also have the option to walk through allusion blinds without having to draw them first. This provides the ability to have air flowing through the blinds with the windows open and no pesky bugs getting in, whilst allowing you easy access in and out.
Design options – whilst traditional net curtains are generally only available in light colours, the allusion blind comes in an option of designs and white or charcoal grey tones, meaning you can match them to your interior design style.
